PESTO/MINT AND BASIL

Pesto sauce with an Eastern Mediterranean flavor!



INGREDIENTS:
•2 cups fresh basil
•1 cup fresh Italian flat leaf parsley
•1/2 cup fresh spearmint leaves
•3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
•1/4 cup pine nuts toasted
•1/4 cup walnuts
•6 clove garlic
1 •1 tablespoon lemon juice or juice of 1/2 lemon •1 cup Parmesan cheese grated
•1 tablespoon salt

PREPARATION: •Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Per serving: 249 Calories; 25g Fat (89% calories from fat); 5g Protein; 2g Carbohydrate; 8mg Cholesterol; 987mg Sodium
