7upฎ CAKE


(Soul food favorite)


Ingredients:
• 1 1/2 cups butter
 
• 4 eggs
 
• 1 Tbl pure lemon extract
 
• 2 1/2 cups sugar
 
• 3 cups flour
 
• 3/4 cup 7-Upฎ
 
Preparation:
 
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Spray cake pan with Pamฎ cooking spray.
In mixing bowl mix butter and sugar
Add eggs (one at a time) and beat well.
Add lemon extract.
Add flour.
Add 7-upฎ.
Mix to smooth consistency.
Pour into cake pan.
Bake for 1 hour.
Test doness by sticking toothpick in middle, it's done when it comes out clean.
Take out and allow cake to cool on rack for 15-20 minutes.
 
Serves 6
