JEWISH APPLE CAKE
INGREDIENTS: SERVES 6
● 4 eggs
● 2 Cup(s) sugar
● 1 Cup(s) Mazola oil
● 2 Cup(s) flour
● ½ Teaspoon(s) Kosher salt
● 4 Teaspoon(s) baking powder
● 4 Teaspoon(s) cinnamon
● 2 Teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
● 6 apples, sliced thin
● 1 Cup(s) walnuts nuts, chopped
● 4 Tablespoon(s) granulated sugar
● 2 Teaspoon(s) cinnamon
DIRECTIONS:
1. Beat eggs; gradually add sugar and oil.
2. Sift flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon together. Add to egg mixture.
3. Add vanilla. Fold in apples and nuts.
4. Sprinkle with topping made with 4 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
5. Bake at 350℉ for 50 to 60 minutes in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
